The Shire of Cranbrook currently has two vacancies.
Plant Operator
The Shire of Cranbrook is seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our Works team as a Plant Operator or an individual with a HR licence who has the ability and willingness to acquire new skills and qualifications. This is a permanent, full-time position that works a 9-day fortnight, with every second Monday as a Rostered Day Off. Conditions of employment are in accordance with Level 3.1 – 4.4 of the Shire of Cranbrook Outside Staff Collective Agreement with a wage of between $70,000 to $80,500 per annum plus allowances.
Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Shire of Cranbrook Outside Staff Collective Agreement 2023 with wages dependent upon experience.

Community Development Officer (P/T)
The position is a permanent part-tIme role with a minimum of 25 hrs/week under the Shire of Cranbrook Administrative Agreement 2017. The salary level is between Level 4 – $78,318 to Level 6 – $84,173 annual full time equivalent, depending on qualifications and experience.
Experience in community projects and events and an interest in children, youth and seniors programs would be highly desirable. A Police clearance and a Working With Children certificate is required.
