After School Activities Program
Proudly funded by the Shire of Cranbrook and Amity Health
The Shire of Cranbrook, in partnership with Amity Health, delivers an After School Activities Program in Cranbrook two days per week during each school term, commencing from week two. This program has been funded by Amity Health under the Families and Communities Programme of the Australian Government Department of Social Services since 2023.
This initiative helps address gaps in access to programs due to location and rising costs for families whilst creating opportunities for children to connect, grow, and thrive while strengthening the wider community.
The program itself provides a structured and engaging range of activities that actively build children’s confidence, resilience, and social connection. It also creates a safe and supportive environment where primary school-aged children are encouraged to explore self-expression, build positive relationships, and develop essential life skills.
