Commencement of CBH Workers Accommodation Camp

Commencement of CBH workers accommodation camp.

Co-operative Bulk Handling (CBH) has commenced the build of a workers accommodation camp on the edge of town.  This will accommodate 28 people with the possibility of expanding to 33 units.

Access will be off the Two Mile.  They will be planting trees when they have finished to block the site from the road.

This new build is part of CBH’s recognition of the importance of Cranbrook as a major receival site for grain.

They will also be utilizing their workers accommodation units at the west of the Cranbrook Caravan Park, although these are no longer available to outside contractors or visitors.

Maps of the build site can be viewed at the Shire of Cranbrook’s Administrative Office.  Work is expected to take several months, and they have permission to work on Sundays between 7.00 am and 5.00 pm.

Any complaints regarding noise, dust or anything else can be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Linda Gray, at the Shire’s Administrative Office, on 98261008.
