Cranbrook is the Gateway to the Stirling Range National Park. Much of the National Park is located within the boundary of the Cranbrook Shire.
National Heritage listed the Stirling Range National Park offers nature lovers a wonderful opportunity to explore a mountain range in its natural state. The unique and abundant wildflowers with the pathways, walking tracks and impressive cliff faces make the National Park one of the South West's most popular destinations.
The rugged mountain range stretches 65kms east-west and rises spectacularly out of the surrounding plains to a height of 1095m above sea level and covers over 1,159 square kilometres.
