The Nominations for the 2023 Community Awards are OPEN!
Shire of Cranbrook 2023 Community Awards categories:
– Citizen of the Year
– Young Citizen of the Year
– Sporting / Club Person of the Year
– Community Achievement Award
The awards will be presented at the Australia Day Breakfast at the Cranbrook Sporting Club, Thursday 26th January 2023 from 8:00am.
These awards are sponsored by the Shire of Cranbrook to acknowledge the contributions resident/s have made to our community or to an organisation.
Nominations close Monday 16 January 2023, 4:00pm
Citizen and Young Citizen of the Year – awarded in recognition of a noteworthy, honorary contribution in community service or for personal achievement, including sport, over a number of years.
Community Achievement Award – awarded to an individual, organisation or group in recognition of the valuable contribution that a special event has made in giving something to the local community.
Sporting / Club Person Award – designed to acknowledge the most outstanding Community Group or Organisation that has demonstrated a high level of excellence in sport and recreation and innovation and provided a significant impact on the town’s community.
